Melissa was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and has lived in Houston since 1999. As a single mother, Melissa Gael went to law school while raising her only son, Nathan, all by herself. After law school, she launched a successful legal practice, and eventually, adopted quite a few adorable poodles. The latter truly helped her to form her vision, and that became the inspiration for Melissa Gael Designs.
Melissa Gael Designs was founded as a way to make any person or pet feel beautiful, fancy, and as extravagant as they deserve. Our team truly understands how fabulous it feels to fully express yourself and every single piece is created with this expression, elegance, beauty, and pizazz in mind; because we fully understand that everybody deserves a little bling. It’s always fun to hear pet parents say, “My dog LOVES wearing the jewelry and gets excited when I put it on him/her”!
