To determine the appropriate necklace size for your dog, measure your dog's neck with a soft measuring tape following the instructions below.

 If you do not have a soft measuring tape or a printer, you can use a string or ribbon to wrap around your dog's neck and then lay the string or ribbon flat next to a ruler or rigid measuring tape.

1 When measuring your dog's neck, your dog should be sitting or standing in a normal position. If your dog is laying down, your chances of getting an accurate measurement decrease.   Measure the neck where the collar would normally sit.
2 Pull the measuring tape snug but not tight. You should be able to slide one or two fingers between the dog's neck and the measuring tape. Use one finger for toy and small dogs. Use two fingers for larger breeds. Give your dog a hug!
